Welcome to Degrees. These Terms govern your use of the Service operated by Degrees App, Inc. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 21 years old to create an account or use the Service. The Service involves nightlife venues where alcohol may be served; by using it you represent that you are of legal age. We verify date of birth at signup and may restrict or remove accounts that do not meet the age requirement.
Access is by invitation. Invite codes are personal, limited, and may not be sold, transferred, or used for unauthorized promotion. We may revoke access or codes at our discretion.
You're responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Provide accurate information, including a valid phone number and date of birth.
Don't use the Service to harass, harm, impersonate, or endanger others; don't scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service; don't misuse the contact, location, or messaging features. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
By opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from Degrees (verification, waitlist/invite updates, your weekly reveal, and waves).
Venue routing and recommendations are provided as-is. We don't operate the venues and aren't responsible for your experience at them, their service of alcohol, or your conduct. Drink and act responsibly; you are responsible for your own decisions and safety.
If you submit content (e.g., suggesting a venue), you grant us a license to use it to operate and improve the Service. Don't submit anything unlawful or that you don't have the right to share.
The Service, the Degrees name, and related marks are owned by Degrees App, Inc. These Terms don't grant you rights to our IP.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Degrees App, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for events occurring at third-party venues or arising from interactions between users.
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service or users.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
